The hand guard is what I like about it. Mostly it's different. The solid handguard makes the thing look ugly and changes the aesthetic

The older model's handguard is more normal looking, but the new ones are a bit funky

Have a 1st gen sig m4. Trigger is the best ootb on any sub 1500 dollar ar imho. Solid solid rifle. I have shot mine a lot. For years. With all kinds of ammo. Not 1 malfunction

I have the one that came out later with a different hand rail and finished in the distressed OD green. Awesome finish. It’s a good firearm and with some simple mods you can make run like butter and be a nailer.

I swapped mine out for a Samson Manufacturing hand guard. Big improvement and now its super solid all around.

This guy has nothing but bad takes holy shit. He has some correct points sometimes but sometimes I'm like "bro are you fucking serious?" Slap a sig 1-8x lpvo, a half vert, light, comp and boom…amazing fucking rifle. Literally the only thing sig makes that sucks is the 320 and that's just the earlier models. The earlier model 1911 also somewhat fucken sucked so I give the 320 a pass. I wouldn't own one though lol

No the one flaw with sig rifles is the barrel thats tapered so only sig muzzle devices and suppressors will work with them unless you get an adapter

I own the Tread that does not have the full length M-lok and tbh…. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I like the look. It's unique. The Snakebite edition looks even better with the tan painted body and barrel.

Sig should have ran a rail thru top of handguard and it would look great. I have that same Tread and very much wish it had full rail along it
