The fake ones have a more crisp circle, the centre dot and outer ring is also larger, real eotechs have a very pixelated outer ring and small centre dot you dont notice the pixelation if you focus on the target not the reticle

Nah they way you tell is if your way over paying for what your getting… Used to run them a lot… Till I started using others. Only real advantage they have is through NVGs…
Also the reticle itself not being fuzzy, the laser warning sticker, the āfor law enforcement and military use onlyā markings, silver clamps on the battery cap retainer, brass battery housing, and the shiny tint is needed to help reflect the red dot, you donāt even need it with a holographic sight
Actually showing a comparison would be nice. Donāt bother actually showing the LED emitter, donāt bother taking the little time and effort to show the glass comparison, my god what a shit job
Fake Eotech comes in handy on airsoft. The biggest difference is the dot. Real one is fuzzy. Fake one is clear (kind like how itās on the Holosuns).

Some fake eotech nowadays uses holographic tech and costs around 3-400 bucks
ngl sounds like you almost donāt know the differences haha, glass is a dead giveaway should have 0 REFLECTION whatsoever as itās a feature of eotechs glass coating, and there should be 0 signature emitting from the front side of the glass outwards (reticle should only be visible through the down range position when looking through the optic at the rear.) contacting eotech with your serial # is also a full proof way to verify that your eotech is authentic. iāve seen so many people get swindled at gun shows and shops please do your research and stay safe. no you will not get an authentic eotech for under 200$ unless itās severely damaged/used in which you shouldnāt buy it anyways.
