  1. As someone that purchased an AR as young as possible, I can say that I didn't have the opportunity to train near as much as I should/could have if I would of had a .22 AR. Most of the time, I only had enough money to go out and shoot a couple mags but never enough to get hundreds of rounds down range in a single day. With a .22 you can shoot all day and still be within most 18 year olds budget. The last thing you want to do is buy something that just sits and isn't used.

  2. A fucking .22?!?!!!! That’s legit a kids gun. You go camping what’s the number one gun your dad gives you to shoot some pop cans with? A fucking .22lr….. adults get to have adult guns, recommend a 5.56 like a fucking man. Unless it’s girl just give them the .22…….

  3. Just buy a 5.56/2.23 AR-15 and recommend buying a .22lr bolt insert. Then you can have the best of both worlds a solid first rifle with a good intermediate cartridge but also can get a lot of range time with the conversion without breaking the bank.
