Building an AR-308 on a Budget – Part 3 (Aero Precision Upper Receiver Parts Installation)

This is the third video of a series following me building an AR-308 on a budget and shows the installation of the forward assist and ejection port cover. The AR is DPMS format and the series follows me building it part by part from the stripped receivers to the completed project. I got the ejection port cover and the forward assist as a kit from schuylerarmsco.com. It’s really coming together! I hope you enjoy!

  1. I have the same aero upper as you, why doesn’t my small hex thread pin not go in when I put the forward assist in? And didn’t you buy the “.308 spring” for the forward assist or did you just use the regular ar-15 spring it came with. Please help ASAP.
