However, these are rippoffs of American companies products such as the Sylvan Arms folding stock adapter and the Law Tactical folding stock adapter. The folder shown in the video is cheaply made and generally of bad quality and will break on you. Buyer beware.

This is the cheapest AR15 or AR10 side folding adapter period. so first off, it works as advertised with a couple of caveats. it will take machining for the extension to fit into a standard bolt carrier group. due to the design it also puts some pretension on the bolt and will make it more difficult for your rifle or pistol to cycle, meaning you will most likely need to add more gas, lighten your buffer, or go with a weaker spring to maintain reliability. The stock retaining pin for the buffer system also broke on my after the first couple of uses so I cut a bolt down to size and have been using that to hold in my buffer and spring… a little janky but it works. overall build quality is good using 6061 aluminum for the main housing and steel (crappy steel) on the wear and locking components. For a fun setup it rocks for the money. For serious applications, spend serious money.
