Got a Ruger Harrier with a Vortex Sparc AR. She's a darling at the range. Chose it over the S&W MP Sport III, glad I did. Make sure you pay the extra $50 for the Magpul goodies

The Ruger Harrier is literally just a rebranded Anderson AM-15. They bought they machines from them and it was for this line.
My favorite rifle under 500bucks is my Sig mcx spear Lt ir 300 blk out 9 inch. It’s about 3 grand

PSA? You can buy a Freedom carbine for $499 or an m- lok railed upper for $299 and a complete lower for $179….
Between these 3 I’ll take the PSA.
The radical firearms rf-15 had served me well for quite a few years now. It has been torture tested and used as a Frankenstein for parts and just won’t stop working or die. Really worth the money imo.

If you're gettinh a Radical Firearms offering: SWAP OUT YOUR CHARGING HANDLE FIRST! My buddy's broke within abt 48 hrs of having it (thankfully I had a spare handy) and I've seen multiple other ppl have the same problem online. Now she runs like a scalded mule and hasn't had a single jam in the 1500+ rds my buddy's put through her, so its a great gun, probably just a batch of badly heat-treated mil-spec charging handles

I’ve decided that you should only get one budget/entry level priced AR. Then save your money and get a mid tier. Then a top tier upper and build your lower. After that, it’s game on…
Any of those setups would cost over 4K in Canada If they didn't ban the semi auto platform. Way over priced for what we get.

At the very least get a bcm. Vcm rails are trash but they're a far superior gun to all those he just mentioned… Geissele is better than that and then there's people like s o l g w knights noveske blackout and LMT at the tip top. That's the stuff that's actually worth buying
