  1. I just used this kit on my new build, I did the basic kit, everything functions as it should, I usually use Anderson parts kit and these were cheaper, I am waiting on my upper to come in and I will test it out.

  2. For anyone considering this kit, just installed this kit yesterday. I agree, short take-up and re-set, but ruuuuuuuf and junky. Selector also. Maybe its just mine, but i wont be using this kit, it'll be spare parts. Finish on parts is what you would expect for $33, poor. Imho steer clear, buy quality.

  3. Once again another budget build item from 704TACTICAL.
    Currently building two ARs,
and living in the People's Republic Of Kalifornia, bought two "ELG" LPKs ($28.33) each with the option of no grip no trigger guard. Perfect for my two Aero Precision M4E1 Stripped Lowers with intergraded trigger guard and being a "featureless" build not allowing a standard pistol grip.
A great option for all you patriots (building your own) stuck behind enemy lines so to speak.

PRK doesn't understand that I'm building a Modern Semi-automatic Sporting Rifle (MSSR) not an "Assault Rifle"(AW).
Avoid any kind of AW registration. Go featureless. By all means keep that all important standard magazine release. Your life may depend on it some day. F… all that (mag-lock) separating receivers to reload. Practice reloads like Eugene Stoner intended for the AR15.
    🇺🇲Stay well. Go in peace.

  4. bought cheap lpk and the parts are made of low quality metals…..like you would really notice the take down pins wearing out where they are in contact with the detens….PSA parts kit are excellent the pins slide super smooth and no sign of wearing out

  5. I got a cheap lower parts kit off optics planet, it was less than $30 minus the fcg, but the safety was out of spec as it couldn't be flipped from safe to fire or from fire to safe without applying way to much force. I tend to stick with certain brands now like PSA or CMMG as they're usually priced good foe what you get. I'll have to check this lpk if I decide to do another complete build.

  6. I have had some bad experiences using cheap lower parts kits, but your enthusiasm has me wanting to give one of these a try. You wouldn't think a lower parts kit would be a big deal until you get a bad one.

  7. The fact that you didn't include their lower receiver for this build is concerning. Can you do a review of the lower receiver as well? I'd like to buy one of theirs but budget unknown companies are prone to having machining issues in their lowers. For example, mag release cavity will be improperly sized, bad threads in the buffer arch, spring/detent holes improperly spaced, etc….
