Yeah I'd have gone with a midwest industries free float drop in midlength. I'd have cerakoted it magpul od green to match.

What barrel did you use for this build ?
You should swap the upper half of that MOE handguard with an OD one to maintain the two-tone look beyond the receivers.
Been looking at AP to do a pistol lower. Awesome to see the colors are very good. How is the finish holding up to regular range use?

Great review. What did you use for your receiver end plate. It appears that you used one for a single point sling with over sized holes and ambidextrous.

Great looking rifle. Love Aero Precision products. The Lucid HD-7 is a great red dot sight but I had two of the tan models fail on me recently due to moisture. I'm not sure if they are manufacturing them a little differently these days but it was very disappointing.
