  3. I’d swap colt and FN with Noveski and danial defense. Colt and FN are “good” but just not on the same level. Higher quality control and they all come with cold hammer forge barrels. Not all FN and colt products come with cold hammer Forge barrels.

    Sons of liberty, LMT, spikes tactical, and BCM are all really good too

  4. Here's a trick for the poor guys that don't like the bufferspring twang, clean your damn rifle! But seriously you need to clean and lube inside the buttstock where the buffer goes. Obviously the spring and buffer need to be cleaned and lubed also but from my experience the buttstock is the main twang culprit with M4's and M16s. FYI, the twang always returns eventually.

  5. Colt has gone down the drain faster than the truth at a congressional hearing. Aero Precision has had horribly inconsistent availability and nearly non-existent customer service in recent years. I don't know exactly what your level of experience is with these rifles, but it sounds to me like you haven't been out in the market in a hot minute.

  9. Socom also has Daniel Defense… both block 2s and block3s in mk18s and m4s. Just saying. I love Giessele don’t get me wrong. My favorite rifles are the ones with DD barrels and ris 3 rails. A Giessele nano coated BcG and bolt and thier airborne charging handle with their triggers. Upper and lower can be either DD or Geiselle. Most of my lowers are BCM but I do have quite a few Giesseles and a few DD lowers. But this makes the perfect rifle. I have quite a few set up this way now. I also have complete DDs and Giesseles. I promise if you go buy a 10.3, 11.5 or 14.5 stripped Daniel Defense upper, then throw in the Gieselle BCG and bolt along with charging handle and whatever muzzle you prefer and use a lower that’s either BCM, DD or Giessele and put your favorite Giessele trigger in it and put a spring co buffer spring and depending on barrel length a H2 or H3 buffer that it will be the best gun you ever shoot and wil be literally bomb proof and have a crazy life span. I’ve personally had multiple DD CHF barrels last 50k rounds, some more. Some less depends on barrel length and suppressor use and how much and fast you shoot in a training session. I have now 30k rounds on a new Giessele BCG and bolt and the fucking finish still looks new… it’s unbelievable. DD makes a good BCG but 5,000 rd it looks used. People can argue that Giessele makes a more accurate barrel and they make a good barrel but in my experience DD barrels are nail drivers with insane life spans. Nothing wrong with a Gieselle barrel, I own a few and I love them. Just think DD makes a slightly better one. The RIS rails either ris ii or ris iii are tanks, they don’t heat up. Sorry but this is where Gieselle flat out loses to DD. Gieselle rails get hot as fUXK fast. You do two mags running some fast bill drills you can barely touch the back part of the rail and where your hand is it’s getting hot, combine that with summer and it sucks. Throw a can on it’s worse. Daniel Defense RIS rails are hands down the best rails on the market and they are beefy, they don’t heat up and they feel good and man can you run them fast cause that rail is just beefy. Light isn’t always better. I love my BCms and I support BCM majorly but they also have those light weight rails that get hot. But at the end of the day if you running a BCM, Gieselle or Daniel Defense then you have a premium professional grade rifle. I like other rifles cause I’m a gun nerd but those are it for me. When I need capability and a rifle I can trust that’s the best money can buy, there isn’t a rifle out there better made then by one of those 3 companies. And like I just explained I like to take the strengths of each company and combine them into one rifle.

  12. TL;DR: Get a Geissele.

    Honestly, I can’t even argue with that. You get a whole lot of rifle for the price. The price is not even half bad if you get it on sale. They’re on sale quite often throughout the year.

    Also no BCM? They’re also pretty good for the money.
