Consider an ALG trigger for a "budget but still really good" trigger. Better for a "fighting" style rifle as well whereas IMO most Geiselle's are suited for a DMR/match role.
Have you thought about a tape switch for the light?
Big gun for a truck gun. Make mine a "pistol " version. Good luck maneuvering a full size rifle inside a vehicle.
Always interesting to see other guys’ setups. I keep a cheap DPMS AR similar to your CMMG in my truck. On a side note, consider ditching the background music as it is distracting. Cheers.
Good review! As for the new muzzle device, check out the YHM phantom comp or the Nemo Arms t3 comp.
awesome rifle setup man I'm doing something similar as well with a ban era bushmaster that has a c7 upper for a truck/camp gun (also you could try a h1 or 2 buffer to help soften the recoil impulse)
i have the same setup as yours except mine is a pencil bbl carbine gas system, with a car stock. #carryhandlegang
I just put together a similar build for my vehicle gun. Adjustable B5 stock, B5 grip, BCM MK2 Recoil Mitigation system, BCM trigger, 16” PSA dissipator upper(mid-length Gas system), PSA nickel boron Toolcraft Premium BCG, BCM charging handle, carry handle, sling and a Primary Arms 1X Prism mounted on my carry handle. Iron sights are still fully usable via a tunnel in the PA Prism mount. Love it!
Nothing wrong with a basic no bells and whistles middy.
That is a beauty! The standard A2 sighting system is perfect. Mine is an un-molested OEM stock and has an A2 (fixed) stock, A2 upper, 16" Middy Hbar. It rolls with me in the truck.
Sick build, but not an optimal truck gun imho.
Awesome build.
Hell yeah brother!
