I have one in Bear Creek Arsenal and have never had one jam, and have done NO modifications to the gun.
I refuse to own any cartridge that has the name legend, bushmaster, prc, creedmore, Buckhammer.I would challenge the states on their laws on straight wall cartridges. They need to go by velocity and not cartridge shapes.
I've been using Midway usa for 18 years, Mr P is the best. And gifts on your birthday, alot more californistan tolerant. Than most.
You should tune your upper for tthe cartrage. And have dedicated mags for most different caliber. Tarus also offers a revolver in it. Amd the 350 likly has more ammo options than 300dlk now. It is ine of Winchester best selling rounds and is nade by everybody now.. The sub sonic can work with a 9mm can too and spanks the 300blk sub sonic.. Anybody running a .556 AR now should pick up a dedicated upper and mags. They are cheaoer than most other options. Of those options which would you prefer on hog. Bkack bear or Elk if you gave too?

350 legend jamming and misfeeds r minimal when rifle is equipped with full rifle length stock and full weight buffer and spring…… remember that the 350 legend cartridge is about 3x heavier than the 55 gr 223/5.56…….

5:58 I have only had jamming issues in my .350 Legend with FTX type bullets, that polymer tip is not ideal for the cartridge when used in the AR platform. On the other hand I have had 100% reliability with both Winchester Power Point 180gr and Hornady American Whitetail 170gr. The Hornady round groups particularly well for me and is my go to round for hunting. Have had great success with both the gun and the cartridge on deer here in Michigan. Overall it’s in my top 5 favorite cartridges and for how “new” it is, I already feel confident saying it’s here to stay.

I don’t think it would be possible to use a larger diameter bullet for the 350 legend. If I remember correctly, the goal was to use 5.56 cases so that costs can be kept low and allow compatibility with the whole AR platform except for the barrel.
You have bought the wrong brand. Naver had an issue!
Sometimes AR feeding issues can be fixed by changing buffer weight and sometimes the recoil spring. I had to do it when I switched my upper to 6.5 Grendel

I have a Ruger MPR in 350 Legend. I have fired over 1000 rounds through it flawlessly. All Winchester factory loads in a mix of 145g, 150g deer season XP, and the 180g.
Only cleaning done has been gun scrubber and a few well placed drops of oil done at range. I believe it’s been done 3 times in 5 yrs of use.
Almost ALL rounds have been loaded from modified 223 Pmags (30 rd).
Groups of 1” at 150yds.

CMMG is the brand I own. They seem to have gotten it right from the beginning and I have never had a FTF, FTE.
Wilson Combat has a 20 round mag for the AR platform that is a quality piece.

I put one togather for my 11 year old to deer hunt with I load 170 interlocks with H110 and it hammers them. He’s killed 3 all of them drop in their tracks. The longest shot was 156 yards.

I would try 300blackout mags or see if they make a specific 350 legend magazine also try adding an h3 buffer to slow down the bcg speed that will aid in reliable feeding the 300blk magazines made by magpul and lancer have a stronger spring

I think the ultimate straight wild cartridge that everyone forgets about is the 12 gauge shotgun. Yes I know it’s not a freaking sniper rifle or anything, but you can get a 12 gauge with detachable magazines in the AR or AK platform for a very cheap price. Usually around the same cost as a 300 blackout upper receiver.Reloading is an absolute dream. With the right set up you can get really accurate shots out to 100 yards. Just saying that’s a serious kinetic energy dump that everyone forgets about.

Just buy a chronograph or use ballistic tables to find energy.
Im in a straight wall state that also doesn't allow semi auto hunting so im thinking the cheapest way to go is a bolt action 350 legend upper that goes on an existing lower. It uses the most common parts as a 556 so its the cheapest way to make a hunting rifle if u have a lower already

Thinking about getting BCA 350 Legend upper and noticed a lot of reviewers have had issues with cycling / feeding, which has led to a lot of negative reviews. I was planning to use the upper with my Ruger MPR 556 for hunting. One thing I noticed is that a lot of the reviewers that had issues were basically mag dumping and "high" capacity mags. Curious if anyone has used a 350 Legend upper for hunting purposes and how it's handed that. Thanks.
Having recently acquired a 350 legend " a savage axis xp " and living in ohio a straight walled deer hunting state . I'm still sorting through ammo to see what works best in the rifle . Current deer rifle is a Rossi r92 357. Which does fine
