Can a $350 budget AR-15 (Radical Defense RF15) survive 1000 rounds without failure?
Today, we’re testing a cheap AR-15 to see how well it performs under pressure. We will conduct a series of tests in which I fire 200 rounds in a short period and then evaluate the condition and performance of the weapon. I will then review the state of the firearm and any malfunctions.

The purpose of this test is to help someone interested in buying a rifle to make an informed decision. I will explain the pro’s and con’s of this budget rifle, and at the end, I will tell you whether it’s worth buying a budget-friendly rifle or if you should rather aim for a higher-end rifl.

  1. People need to understand that ARs are not new technology. They've been around for decades and as the market increases while research costs decrease, so does the price for "basic" AR-15s.

  2. And on my Omni hybrid the one that's plastic upper and lower second gen the lifetime warranty fix the quad rail that was moving back and forth looks like no warranty for radical arms I just had to make some comments on this rifle I've been studying it for like 6 months now thinking about buying it

  3. I wish I could link the videos but there's literally six other videos out there that talk about that bolt failing and I've seen a lot of split cases I thought about buying this rifle twice but the split cases no ones came up with the fix yet it could be a break-in. No one said that about the split cases yet

  4. I have a RF-15 with 6x-24x 50mm scope, bipod, 45° iron sights, pressure sensitive tac light and an H2 buffer and she's a workhorse. Never a jam never a failure. I'm beginning to think the industry has just lied to us all these years and made us feel inadequate if we didn't spend every dollar we had to buy a piece. My other budget piece that I absolutely love is my Canik Mete MC9. I will buy another Radical and another Canik

  5. Years ago these guys were terrible, they couldn't make a barrel and the receivers were out of spec. One was shooting about 12 MOA and the other was keyholing at 25 yards. Maybe it's better now, but look out for lemons.

  6. What is literally frustrating Is the fact you can buy a 556 rifle for 350 bucks but you can't buy a meal spec AR chambered in 22LR for that. Seriously, even the crap tacular 1522 has no business being what they're claiming to be. To put that into perspective I thought I got ripped off paying $400 for performance center 1522 back when they were new. Now the price is astronomical and makes absolutely zero sense for what you're getting. Make it make sense

  7. I've had a 16" middy Radical upper pinned to a poverty pony lower for 10 years. It has about 1000 rounds through it, and its only failure was caused by a NiB bcg with a bad extractor that I threw in it. Replaced that with the Radical bcg and it has been flawless.
It also shoots as accurately as the ammo you put in it (2.5MOA with WWB 55gr).
I couldn't be happier. Is it a DD, BCM, etc? No.
Would a DD or BCM have performed better in the time and round count that I've used it? No.
That's not to say that it would be the same results if I had put 10k rounds through it, but I have not so I can't judge based upon "what ifs".
    Anyway, very happy Radical owner.

  8. Seems to run better than the F&Ns and Colts, I was issued as M16A2s in the Army, but the ammo we ran wasn't great either and our magazines in the late 90s were cheap and probably always terrible back in the 1960s when they were new.
