I personally love the buffering system on the AR. Having the recoil impulse right in the shoulder makes for a great shooting gun.
Not the charging system? The AR should have been side charging. It's like someone asked for the least ergonomic way to rack it.

The cost of a new round will be expensive. If it’s not economically feasible to reload existing ammunition, then introducing new ammunition would take years for the cost to regulate.
Majority are not piston, most of the ones out there are cheap, too many cosmetic bros.

I agree with #3. I would also add that I'm not a fan of the ar style charging handle. I like a side charger. But to be fair if you change both of those things it's not really an ar anymore 😂

They are trying to improve the ar, side charging and what not. I you can get ar's in 308, or 6mm, or 6.5G, they just need to make more 6
5g and I think it would replace 5.56 altogether. Itd a better round
My gripe is adjustable gas blocks should be standard. Even in budget rifles.

If your an AK guy just say it. No one hates more than an AK guy on ARs. There is a reason third world countries military’s use AKs and the best most prestigious military forces use MAINLY DI systems. Lighter, easier to work on, more parts readily available to Americans, typically cheaper, lighter ammo, better penetration in 556 with 72 grain. I’ve never seen someone continue a fight under 200 yards after getting hit with right load of 556. And IMO ARs just look better and I actually love the buffer tube system over 1913/picatinny stocks. More evenly weighted system and they don’t recoil near as much as a 762×39

Does .277 fury not exist? Short stroke piston is also the solution for the buffer tube.

Here's a gripe. Not about the gun itself, but how it is demonized in the press and by hand-wringing politicians who want to take away our 2A rights because of the actions of a very few. "It's long! It's black! It's an "AR 15"." How often do you hear that in the news? "The suspect used an AR-15 style assault weapon." My gripe isn't the gun. The gripe is how the ignorant misuse its name.

I have seen so many brand new ar15s with out of spec headspace and issues with the rifling that I literally think theyre doing it on purpose for some reason
Dude, I forgot about the fact you can't fold the stock. My AK is.Romanian WASR underfolder. Wouldn't it be great if you could fold it? It's really pretty handy.
