  1. This new Socialist Mayor in New York wants to take away guns. Ummmm, imagine being the guy that has to go knock on doors and say "good morning, ive come to collect your guns"……I don't think so spanky!
    (EDIT-> Dem mayor CANDIDATE)

  2. So I run a 1-6x LPVO on my general purpose 14.5” 5.56 rifle. Been thinking about changing to a red dot and 3 or 5x magnifier. What do yall think the pros or cons over one or the other is for a general purpose

  3. I’ll have to see how it goes swinging the other way, I went with a 4x prism sight with a built in peep riser to still see the irons for my S&W 1854. Red dot and riser just felt like there’s too much going on with multiple moving pieces.

  4. Question here
    why don't people put their magnifier in front of the red dot? Eye relief issues or parallax issues or something? I don't really see how a magnifier can do you any good behind your red dot, because it will increase the dot size also. Won't that basically defeat the idea? by putting the magnifier in front, the red dot would stay the same size, but the target would get bigger, making it easier to make precise shots. A bigger target won't help much if your dot is still bigger than the target.
    Idk what I'm talking about, never messed with a magnifier. Anyone ever try that out? If you have, I'd be curious about your experience. I have a dot, swapped it out for a scope because my dot was so big it felt useless for predator hunting. Though about getting a magnifier to run in front to help fix this issue, but I don't really know if it will work out or not.

  5. Just in case any one of you all are wondering, a “bogey” is used in military jargon, sometimes even in the air force. It is used to refer to another target whom you are unable to identify as either an enemy or an ally. Basically, you've got no idea if they’re on your side or not.

    PLEASE correct me if I am wrong

  6. One thing to look for in a red dot optic is the type of batteries used. No use to get some oddball sized battery that is only available online and takes 6 months to get that battery. Which makes it impossible to get that battery if SHFT happens.

  7. Bogey two miles out, 😂😂 Bruh! You're delusional! That's over 3500 yards! At 6X magnification your "bogey" will look like it's 600 yards away! That's 6 football fields! 3.5 tenths of a mile! 😂

  8. There are two hidden magnifier features no one is talking about.

    – it has a focus ring. Good if your sight is not perfect.

    – dot edges are much better defined and visible through magnifier
