A New Challenger Approaches! The CMMG Dissent has entered the ring to challenge the best 9mm PCCs on the market. Who will come out on top?

Have you ever wondered how some of the best 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines compare to one another? Look no further! 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines are my favorite guns to shoot – it’s hard to imagine a more fun day at the range than with a suppressed 9mm PCC. In this video I expand on my original comparison of the Top 10 9mm PCCs I’ve ever used, all of which I own as registered SBRs, and add the CMMG Dissent to the official rankings. I conduct recoil, sight movement and trigger tests as well as suppressor performance tests using my Dead Air Wolfman, and then head back inside for a long form and in depth discussion of how all of these guns compare. These discussions will specifically be focused on the shooting experience with each firearm across 6 different categories: Recoil Impulse, Sight Movement, Triggers (stock and aftermarket), Manual of Arms and Ergonomics, Customizability / Modularity and Aftermarket, and Suppressor Host Effectiveness. Each gun will be ranked in each individual category, and then we’ll add up the scores and declare a winner by the end.

  1. Is your MPX still stock internally? My K with Wolfman in short config was so gassy outdoors that I switched to an ILWT gas plug and +20% recoil springs.

I recently tucked the Wolfman in long config under a handguard, so I'm wondering if it would be less gassy than in short if I swapped back in the original gas plug and recoil springs.
