So…this is a chess move by the SCOTUS to remind the lower courts they have strayed from sound jurisprudence regarding applying Heller and Bruen and they'd better re-think their present course. Interesting: dressing them down without actually dressing them down; a warning shot over their bows.

I've never understood why people use the word "spanked" when saying that SCOTUS overturned a decision from a lower court. Spanked infers being disciplined, when the lower courts can still ignore it and continue to rule wrongly. If the SCOTUS does not have the power to actually discipline lower courts, they are not being "spanked" they are at worse having a finger wagged in their direction. Means nothing other than wasting people's time and money.

SCOTUS decision won't matter as Dem states and cities are apparently above the law.
It's quite clear we are now in a war against freedom and American from within. Judges end public officials who make blatant rulings and laws against the rights of the people must be removed immediately, as they have shown themselves unfit for their positions and unworthy guardians of those rights. We the people must reengage with politics locally and nationally on a massive scale, in order to create the new protections needed in the face of the enormous judicial and legislative assault on our God-given, Constitutionally-protected rights. Short of this, we are likely to lose our rights and freedoms forever and our country be relegated to the dust bin of history.
