  1. For those not familiar with big bore AR calibers, magazines can be finicky. The feeding issues I had with the duramag specifically has nothing to do with the rifle, but I wanted to share the magazine I was able to get to run consistently.

  2. I have 2 of their uppers 6,5Grendal first upper would not feed properly they replaced it,next was a556 upper bolt was a problem plunger was not installed correctly I corrected it .Bca is almost impossible to reach on the phone.they need to work on their Qc.not sure if I would buy another after the problems I've had the 450 is one I would consider.

  3. It's not a general shooting caliber you use it for hunting. I've shot 4 deer with mine And it really puts them down. If you want a reliable magazine I found the lancer 450 bushmaster magazine to be the most reliable. Although I have the ability to reload this caliber I generally just buy Hornady the ammunition when I need a box. Too painful to shoot a lot.

  4. I have an 18” 450 from BCA and it’s a great shooter!!
    I also have a 20” 223 Wylde that’s a tack driver.
    Plus 2 10.5” uppers
one in 5.56 and one in 7.62×39
    Both vary accurate.
All four are super reliable as well. They are well worth the money!!

  5. if you are hunting with this caliber in any brush, do not use the hornady black, that polymer tip deflects so bad in the brush it cost me 2 deer. Get the Hornady American Whitetail soft lead tip, you will be happy you did. And to help with recoil get the adaptive tactical ex stock. you will be happy you did. i use the bca 18" upper and love the gun.

  6. I put a Windham muzzle break on my 16 inch and it cut the recoil in half. I also put a recoil pad on my stock to lengthen it, also causing a reduction in felt recoil. It is now pleasant to shoot.

  7. That’s crazy so u bought one rifle and they send u a complete one for free. I bought 7 complete uppers but was told since I’m not a influencer on YouTube I can’t even get a magazine from them. Thanks bear creek

  8. Just bought a 450 upper from BCA hoping to get sub moa, I have gotten sub moa out of budget rifles before always polish the bore with J-B Bore cleaner has tightened up the groups every time. My Radical Firearms 5.56 has shot half moa with hand loads.

  9. I think all parts are the same indifferent to price, they're all made by the same manufactures to the same standards. The forgings are made by one of three companies. I've built at least a dozen AR's and haven't had a single issue…

  10. I have lived in MI for the last 30+ years and loved hunting! For years, we have always used shotguns in the lower parts of MI, but soon as I found out that MI has passed law that allows hunters to use the 450 BM in the shotgun zones, I quickly bought an AR15 450 BM and swapped a Leupold Pig-Plex scope on it… Man, I'm loving it! I've used it since and most of the deer that I've shot, nearly part of the chest was blown away.

  11. People that buy these guns use them for hunting. Well the people I know use them for hunting. These guns are reliable. I have a .308 BCA and it is used for hunting. When I see groups like that I see a dead hog or dear all day long. BCA is a hell of a company. Good customer service. Great people.I have a buddy that has the 450. He has to put a notch in the mag so it feeds right. For some reason every mag catches the lip of the casing.

  12. I don't know if you know this partner but limbsaver makes a recoil pad that fits on that mil-spec stock just a thought. I have one on a 12 gauge Mossberg and it's a pleasure to shoot.
