I was looking into my gun safes the other day and was wondering how many semi auto 5.56 rifles I have that were not an AR15 platform. So in this video, I decided I’d take them all out and do a little shooting with each one. Big thanks to Silencer Shop for sponsoring this video! 2. You gotta buy the other Tuna…. The ARX 100–

It's actually surprisingly good and you can swap sides for ejection without tools.. and Everyone talks about how it just never stops running, very reliable. It would fit right in with your collection here…. Also, a simple 5.56 AK is a good addition. I have a Saiga .223 that's actually pretty cool. I have an adapter that lets me shoot regular AR mags out of it. It's really grown on me…

  4. You can buy a short stroke gas piston AR for those same prices and they take all of the AR parts.

Makes no sense why anyone would want something other than an AR. I get the MDRX and Tavor.

  5. I deleted the wrong comment. Awesome guns but expensive compared to ARs. I bought a TommyBuilt TG36 for more than a DD M4 and it does not perform anywhere near that rifle. But the G36, to me, just has that 'cool' factor. I'm not really a fan of bullpups but the AUG has that 'cool' factor too. Sometimes it's just about the fun.

  6. There are no alternatives for the AR. Everything else is obnoxiously overpriced.
The fact that you can spend less than $800 and still be able to get a sub MOA rifle that would be fit for any hard doody.

  7. No Mini 14? The 580 series serial numbers and higher are great guns with the factory improvements. I have both an AR and a Mini tactical with the regular composite rifle stock. If there is ever SHTF, I'm taking the Mini with me and leaving the AR shelved.

  8. There are better rifle designs in singular instances than the AR platform, but I don't believe anything will dethrone it from its place in the commercial market. Those "better" designs are specialty applications, while the basic AR platform is very good in many, if not most of them. Its modular capacity is unrivaled.

  9. Do you have any PWS MK 111 Pistols or PWS MK116 Rifles? Curious what you think of their long stroke piston system?? Have you ever looked at the W.W.S.D. light weight Rifle; with a polymer lower by KE-ARMS?
