I also have a 450 BM and been using it for deer hunting (Hornady Black ammo). I was having the same issue at first but what I did was… I took a round file and filed the U-shape cut on the mag where the round is being feed into the chamber; open that U-shape cut to slightly larger than the round and that solved my misfeeding issues. I did that to both of my mags and neither been having issues since. I hope this help and others out there.
When I heard the magic word "Michigan" I jumped from my seat. I've been living in MI for 30 plus years and soon as I found out we were allowed to use the 450 BM, I built an upper and slapped that thing on… man, every deer that I shot, the chest was blown away. Amazing!
