I have a Troy AR-15 upper and removed the dust cover to replace it with a stike industries spring loaded dust cover. Well, to my suprise, the strike industries dust cover was larger that the Troy dust cover that came with the upper. Does anyone know if there is a spring loaded dust cover i can use with this Troy upper? I would really appreciate it.
I just got my Troy upper for $375…slapped a BCM large charging handle and a few QD sling mounts on it so far with an Aimpoint Pro and BCM vertical grip…..

Since this doesn't have a mil spec BCG, could I use a nickel boron M16 BCG? I am a newb so don't judge lol. Looking to build my first AR, already have a PSA lower..

finally got the rail off it took me over 1 hr and half of twisting , pulling and some extreme bad words omg these rail was a pain to remove, getting back after installing the accessories rails was not difficult. to clean and oil the barrel will be a good workout. thank you for the assistance and advice on how to remove it your video is a great help keep them coming, thank you again
I am trying to remove the alpha rail and it's not coming out pass the barrel nut at all. the 3 nuts came out of the rail and the rail cannot be tight anymore I have twisted the rail side to side to remove it but is not working at all. can anyone tell me how to remove it may be I am doing something wrong I watch the two videos about alpha rail that you have but I can't see what am I doing wrong, the complete upper came install. until today that I got the rail attachments I try to take it apart. please give me advice or should I return it to primary arms and have them exchange it for a new one
i just order one of these uppers from primaryarms.com for $511 out the door. it looks good and have seen different reviews on you tube, my question is how can I install a vg or flash light on the rail. can anyone guide me to the right direction to be able to get the right parts for it. all the help and advice given will be greatly appreciated.

I just got one of these uppers. That is not a full auto BCG. It is a semi-auto. (EDIT: I see you mention that later.
Also, I don't think it's a government profile barrel either. Mine does not have the M203 cut-out.
