Thanks for the kind words Stephen and we're glad you enjoy the guns and the hat. We sent the 0.28g BBs because they work best with the rotary hop up and 6.03 tight bore barrel in the Gen 2 M4s. Part of the reason that these M4s feel good with an 11.1v is that the gears are all metal (like Gen 1), and now all 16 teeth on the piston are also metal. The wiring is also silver low resistance wiring and the trigger contacts are aluminum (in most airsoft guns the wiring and trigger contacts can be burnt out by an 11.1v lipo, but this wiring in the Gen 2 can take more heat and also heats up less, because of the good flow of current). So although we still recommend a 9.6v for the longest life of the gun an 11.1v should should not hurt the good wiring and metal internals for quite a while.
