My Giessele 10.3″ 5.56 NATO AR15 Build. Sort of a MK18 clone, sort of not. This AR15 Pistol Features the Inforce WML, Silencerco Flash Hider, Geissele 10.3 upper, Superlative Arms Piston Conversion, Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter, SBA3 Brace and much more.

Have you ever been interested in a short/compact 5.56 NATO AR15 build? I have a feeling this pistol build will have your bases covered. I have been extremely happy with this build and I am very excited to be discussing this AR15 with you.
This 10.3″ build has truly changed my perspective on super short 556 AR15’s. It is a fantastic weapon and smooth runner.

  1. Hi-thanks for the video, I have a rookie noob question. Is this an SBR or pistol–I ask because the folding feature adds length and you use the SB. Are you concerned about the length, the brace, the optic and the NFA distinction between SBR and pistol? thanks for a great video.

  2. I'd love to hear your thought process behind the BUIS set up. It looks like you have a front sight, but no rear. That's not something I've seen much of. I can see one benefit of not having the rear sight – you can move the optics back to help stay within the eye relief. I'd love to move my 3x magnifier back on my new DDM4V7P, but everything I'm seeing online recommends adding BUIS. I have it just forward enough to have room for a rear sight (when I add one), but I'm really stretching the range on the eye relief.

  3. So not sure if your upper was the Geissele Daniel Defense compilation or the complete Geissele upper but I’ve got a complete Geissele 11.5 and mine is gassed perfect, I also have a LWRC piston gun and I feel that is definitely over gassed and it is not adjustable but it is super reliable and sub MOA. which my Geissele has been as well. Anyway looks like a neat little build but 35 hundo seems super expensive for what it is.

  4. Very nice build. Thank you for sharing. Just looking at you this video makes me want to get a foldable stock and them optics. What i have on is okay. But looking at you shoot that AR bad@$$.

  5. I used the MK18 in the ARMY but then we were given the mid length 11.5" and we tried the 12.5" mid length gas system. For what we did we found the suppressed 11.5" mid gas system to be a bit quicker and and manageable. Now I have a set like yours but I don't have the folder. Now I was wanting to know how reliable has it been for you?

  6. Excellent review and timely for me. Have a SA piston kit on its way and began to be concerned with hand guard selection for my 10.5 build. Geissele tells me the MK4 wont fit with the SA kit, glad to see someone with experience put one in a MK16
