I'm in New York and use this spur grip combined with a Patrick Henry trigger guard for stability.
I would break the law on this until the day I died just because of how damn ugly that looks.

This is not legal your web is not above the exposed portion of the trigger. With this grip, your web is occupying the entire portion from the bottom of the end plate to the bottom of the spur.
This shit has gone too far……
I gotta give kudos to companies out there that keep thumbing their noses at the politicians. It's ridiculous that devices like these need to be created because political grandstanding.
That does look like a better solution.
I havent used that yet but how does it hold up when trying to control the rifle. I have that thorsten stock but I was considering doing the spur grip on my next one
