I bought one of these for $199 from Midway at a one day only sale. It has provided 100% reliability and decent accuracy. A friend of mine got one at a price of $299 from Midway and also had 100% reliability and good accuracy.
I love this channel. Thanks for the review mixup. December 2017 Midway had this complete upper, minus the A2 front sight, a configuration they called "optics ready", on sale for $199. Complete as in BCG and charging handle included. Maybe they'll do that again.
My first Ar was a budget gun, 600 dollar American Tactical Import, Its a reliable gun but a budget gun, not a great barrel but it loves PMC ammo…55 GR PMC groups better than any other ammo or GR Ive shot through it….Im buying a colt competition complete upper for it, found a great deal on some over runs so Im going for it.

Great review as always and good product.I would think the slight wear was from the company test firing the upper. My AR-Stoner came with some verified brass for those sorry people who live in states that require you to take in some fired brass to register your firearm with the local police .
Ive shot the hell out of mine got a 4x little scope 400 yards with 55 grain all day long !
