  1. I picked one of these up today at one of Buds stores for $895. I have to say after building 3 AR's this is quite a nice stock, out of the box AR. I have yet to fire it but for the price, and the magpul additions (I like the poly Magpul flip up rear site, some don't but I like the option of the medium range or long range) are nice. I chose not to put the foregrip on out of personal preference. All in all this seems to be a great out of the box AR for a great price. I've heard nothing but good things (from reputable people, not internet trolls)

BTW I have to say this.@JamandTheHolograms. If someone breaks in your house and has a firearm good luck with your baseball bat and phone call to 911. The cops are going to show up 45 minutes later to you blown to pieces and throw you in the meat wagon. A lot of firearms ARE for home defense. I keep my Glock 22 with Tritium sites and Streamlight flash light on my night stand and my Mossberg persuader 12 gauge pump behind the door. If I here the dogs barking I'm going straight for the shotgun. I'd much rather clean up a hell of a mess than end up six feet under because I grabbed a bat instead of my Mossberg. Good luck with your baseball bat. Maybe if you were in a third world country where they only have machetes and lead pipes that might help, but not here LOL.

  2. So many people fail to understand that the AR-15 with the .223 or NATO round off ballistic tiped rounds that offer the lowest pen rounds out there which makes the AR-15 an amazing self defense weapon where as a 9mm or 45acp will tear through many walls with no problem.

  3. last time i checked guns don't walk into schools and shoot innocent people by themselves. nor do they both load and discharge without the help of some sorry piece of shit behind them. so why don't you and obama join hands and push to win the dumb ass award.

  4. The point is we can so we will… that's it.. nobody should have to explain to anyone why they need this rifle… and please quit raging on these people… I personally know a person with a 10K Square Foot house and millions of dollars of stuff in there and that is indeed what he would grab in someone or multiple people decided to break in and take some stuff..

  5. If you think you need an AR-15 Semi Automatic Military Spec rifle to defend yourself your a loony. Who the hell are you trying to protect yourself and your family from? The Terminator? This is a civilian version of a combat rife. It's made to kill as many people as possible. Hence the 30 round mag. Anyone that buys one of these for home defense is full of sh*t. WE buy AR15's because they're fun and we really wanted an M16 but this is the closest we could get.

  6. And I say this because I do own a customized .308 MOE. and shoot it quite often at the range, and I'll tell you if someone did break into my house the first thing I'd grab is a baseball ball and a telephone because if I had to use that weapon on a human being there wouldn't be sh*t left of them but a mess in my house. Guns are for killing period not "what if scenario's. So stop using that worn out excuse. You want to defend yourself learn Tae Kwondo.

  7. and unless your Elmer Fudd and hunting rabbits chances are you live in a cartoon if you think you need all that sh*t for a "what if" scenario. Maybe I should install a 1000shot of Nitrous into my car "just in case" I'm late for work and need to go faster than normal. He'll maybe I should put a room on the roof just in case there's a flood. The point is the "protect my family" is cock in bull from NRA people to keep PC people from nagging them about their hobby.

  8. Do you know any thing about guns lady? You don't need a .308 with laser beems, shell catchers, tactical lights, adjustable stock, 4 mags with 120rounds if 5.56 nato's or 80 rounds if winchester .308's to protect your God damn family from a "What if" burglar. If you're that paranoid get f'n ADT or move next to a police station. Guns aren't meant for "defending your home" from a break in. Their meant for killing people in war or "defending" your home from invading soldiers. THE END.

  9. "what if scenario" way of thinking is always used by individual with intellect and moral responsibility. What if I got into a car accident, I better wear my safety belt and have my child properly seated on a safe proven child seat, what if it will be cold later on today, I better bring my coat. What if it will rain, I'll bring my umbrella with me. You are not living the utopian society, world are cruel and crimes are real. Some people just don’t wish to be victim.

  10. Not the "Protect my family" bullsh*t story again. Look buddy, unless you're a Ninja Turtle I don't think gangs of criminals wearing masks and carrying weapons are going to try storming into your home. That's a "What if Scenario" that often ends with you shooting a family member by mistake.

  11. With the pacific ocean and atlantic ocean isolating USA from the troublesome countries of the world, who are the one the americans are afraid of? who threaten america's freedom to walk around freely in their country? The canadiens? the mexicans? the bad 'ghetto' people? or the other gun owners? lol

  12. Really? Keep in mind that this style rifle is also the same style that is used to keep you free and walking around this country doing what ever the hell you want to.

  13. To the ignorant piece of shit that left this comment you are truly a piece of human trash to use a tragic event like this to voice your political view you piece of trash

  14. Anyone know if you can switch the safety to the right side and put an ambidextrious mag release on this gun? I'm a lefty looking to get my first ar15. Not sure if I want a fully dedicated left hand gun though. Is it uncommon to find these features on a entry level gun? Lefties please help!
