This was probably mentioned in the comments somewhere but with an ar pistol being technically a pistol, you can keep it loaded and ready in your vehicle with your concealed pistol license, well in Michigan anyway. Big deal!

Uhhh if someone prefers a longer length of pull maybe a regular barreled rifle would be considered.
Apparently, the ATF doesn't know the meaning of "shall not be infringed."
All gun laws are unconstitutional technically, any taxes too. "Destructive Devices" may seem reasonably regulated, but I can own a wrecking ball which would make quicker work of any structure than a grenade launcher.
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I thought I was the only one that thought that way. It seems kinda dumb to spend $200 and have to wait 8-10 months just for an adjustable stock.

I have the SB tactical sba3 adjustable brace on my AR Pistol and is great F the $200.00 tax stamp.
If I'm ever presented with a situation where I shoulder my AR Pistol, I'm probably not concerned about the cops coming to write me a ticket…
Shockwave Blade brace…nuff said. Tax Stamp? Oh, hell no. After I pay the tax that's not needed, I'll buy an Echo and plug it in to invite the spying of my house.

And you can take the AR pistol across State lines but a SBR you have to ask the ATF for permission to do that by submitting Form 5320.20

Then the ATF turns around and says that if you add a blade protector pad you made it into a stock and now you have an unregistered SBR.

they have adjustable pistol braces. no point in SBR at all. fuck the tax man. also in most states a "rifle" has to be in a different compartment than the driver and there cannot be a round in the chamber. "pistol" can be open carried, can be in the same compartment as the driver and can have one in the chamber… NO REASON FOR SBR.

What are the lengths of your barrel, handguard & muzzle device?
I put mine on a Colt SMG tube(2 position) and it will go to the last spot on it. It is still legal I measured the length of pull at 12.9 inches which is under the mandated 13.5. Increases it by about half an inch though.
