Mark, I really enjoyed your appearance on Washington Gun Law. You are surprisingly affable when not instructing us in how to be "the smartest person in the room". I would pay big money to be a fly on the wall during your off camera discussion. I hadn't considered the other side of the coin with this stay. I just love how anything that has to do with NJ and a court ruling is literally the most tailored, narrow ruling possible with the goal of making sure they have the smallest amount of freedom the government thinks it should have to be forced to "allow" the people to "have". It's not just gun rights, its seriously every opportunity and circumstance , every single court seriously acts like allowing anyone to do anything at all without the explicit and expressed permission of the government will immediately somehow become literal the end of civilization over night, expecting raining frogs, cats and dogs living together, yada yada yada…
A lot can happen before June of 2027. In 2027 everything starts all over for magazine bans. This delay makes me think the Supreme Court may not rule in our favor either. How quick the 3rd Circuit bowed to a cry baby letter from NJ

Giving good thought to this Mark, I believe you are absolutely correct with your view of this result with the stay. New Jersey gun owners unfortunately just need to be patient as they have been for quite some time now. My Brothers & Sisters in N. J. Be patient please.
When New Jersey sends all of it's arguments for Cert to SCOTUS, I'm very sure it will be overloaded with…. YOU GUESSED IT … Balancing tests !
SCOTUS should disallow any & all arguments that New Jersey uses that are based on BALANCING TESTS or INTERMEDIATE SCRUTINY.
So we have to wait 1 1/2 Year's for a Constitutional law that's 250 years old . What a legal scam joke our judicial system is .

Mark this Supreme Court, the Roberts court overturned Roe. Roe / abortion is far far more important to the left than gun control is. There were no protests in front of supreme Court judges homes over Bruin, Caetano, Heller McDonald, Wilford, Rahimi. None of those opinions leaked early to pressure the judges to change votes. No crazy person broke into a justices house over those causes but they did with Dobbs. If The Court is willing to overturn Roe The Court can get rid of magazine bans.
Scalia was not wearing a bullet proof vest due over Heller.

Well, the judges will make money, the politicians on both sides will fund raise off of this, the pro 2A and anti's will make money to pay for trip, freebies,and training and feed their self promoting egos, the lawyers will make money. Us unwashed masses??? Nothing. None above. Definitely more "give us more money" (so we can pay for more trips, training, freebies said quietly) We are being played by everyone.

Of course it's bad news…… I'm sure that you've heard "justice delayed is justice denied!" That has never been truer than NOW. It is beyond stupid to allow this to be put off until June 2027! Think of the multitude of citizens who will not be able to defend themselves resulting in untold number of innocents who will die.
It's absolute cowardice by the 3rd Circuit. This was a decision by the entire Circuit 10-5. They were aligned and confident in the legal merits of the case. We KnOW SCOTUS is going to rule in favor of the 2nd amendment. Why make us wait for our freedom? AND it leaves the mag ban case hanging. COWARDS!!!
I am so sick of the courts allowing continued violation of the people's rights when the court has ruled that the ban is unconstitutional. That is total BS and the court needs some way of being held accountable for being complicit in violating people's rights.
