  1. This is misinformation. You are clearly using two different wavelengths for both of those flashlights. Why don’t you use the same wavelength for both flashlights and you will see that they light up the same you are a liar and a cheater and a stealer

  2. Purple light is higher on the nm spectrum. Usually sitting around that 395nm. The flashlight with the black cover is 365nm and you see here how it produces a blue light and all white light is cut out by cover. 365nm is better for flourescent minerals. Check out sterling hill mine if you havent heard of it already.

  3. It’s sad that in other parts of the country such as Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah etc… you have to be very well armed when you go out rockhounding, most of the rocks similar to this are around old mining towns that have been defunct since the 1900’s & sometimes harbor crazies.
