One Horse OH-15 Review | Best Budget AR-15?

We’re out at the range with the One Horse OH-15 — a true American-made AR built for the everyday shooter. If you’re looking for a budget AR-15, this might be one of the best values on the market right now.

In this video, we take it from box to bullets — we unbox the OH-15 at the range, mount up the optic, and put it straight to work to see what it can really do with reliability and accuracy testing.

Topping this setup is the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-10 Rifle Scope from Vortex Optics — a First Focal Plane LPVO built for versatility from close-quarters speed to longer-range precision.

We cover:
Full range unboxing and first impressions
Mounting and setup of the Strike Eagle 1-10 LPVO
Accuracy testing and grouping results
Reliability and real-world performance
Why this could be one of the best budget AR-15 options
Whether this “poverty pony” setup actually overdelivers

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, affordable AR setup that performs — this is one you don’t want to miss.

  1. I just bought the Express, I'm excited to get it. Now I just need a hard use can, I'm thinking the Rhodie 6, if I can find one. Their HQ is actually one city over from me and they have a store, I might just drop by and see if I can find one. I got nothing else going on.

  2. I am trying to decide between this OH-15 and a regular PSA AR-15. I’m thinking that the OH may be the one I get as it’s a little cheaper and seems just as good of a rifle. Any suggestions?
