  1. Also for the bcg part of the video the bolt is most important part most bolt carriers are similar enough to the same that you can get a got bolt and go a little easyier on the bolt carrier.

  2. If you’re not familiar, I’d check out White Oak Armament. They make match grade rifles for the ARMU and other presidents 100 level high power shooters. They’re very slept on. Their BCG is a Milspec carpenter 158 with magnesium phosphate coating for under $100 regularly. It’s an amazing BCG and super reliable. If it’s enough for the shooters training our high speed operators and literally setting the marksmanship standards for the rest of the military, it’s good enough for me.

They also have amazing customer service, family owned, pay their workers well, and if you buy a barrel with the BCG they will do the hard work of head-spacing and other QoL checks.

  3. Funny enough Ive seen more issues with tolerance and efficiency on SOTAR with expensive bcgs than with cheaper milspec models, personally I've never had real issues with anything ranging from 9310 nitride to hard chrome and phosphate chrome lined, I think getting a headspaced bolt matched to your barrel is a better buy than simply a fancy bcg and I think criterion offers this when ordering direct

  4. I don’t know if you get this a lot? But your voice is incredibly relaxing to listen to haha.

Now, it won’t work for all of your content- but content like this video would be packaged very well in a micro podcast, or audio format. I have a lot of friends reach out to me with questions like the ones you’ve answered in this video, and being able to digest it while driving to and from work would be huge for some people

  5. Upgrades? Just buy the right gun/upper the first time. Saves time and money in the long run of having to think about what barrel, gas block, bolt carrier to use. Bcm upper or Geissele upper. Comes with bolt carrier.
