So this is an Eotech with some age on it and the batteries had gone bad and leaked a couple of times, resulting in the springs and electrical connectors getting corroded and the glue holding them in letting go.
I had to wait months on these to come back in stock at Primary Arms but Eotech now has them available on their website.
Now, I only run Lithium batteries in my optics. They will not leak fluid and ruin things like alkaline batteries will.

Thanks for the video. I need to do this for one I own. It is surplus and at some time had a leak. Once it has leaked it will cause problems for this great sight.
