The Dead Air Wolfman is a stainless-steel suppressor capable of handling six different calibers and is rated for full auto. Honestly, my son and I were a little disappointed with the suppressor.

  1. I was disappointed with the level of noise reduction with my Dead Air Wolfman and SilencerCo Harvester EVO. Both average suppressors both make a difference for sure but hearing protection is a must. Takes the edge off when used at an indoor range, very noticeable and appreciated. I am going to get a .22 suppressor…eventually. Taxes being removed was BS put in by Trump minions that helped the wallet but not 2A. He is a globalist, I voted for him, lesser of two evils but the train was always heading in this direction. It will until it reaches its destination.

  2. Another great video but IMHO, the report was much louder than I would expect from 7” suppressor. It would probably be less loud with actual sub-sonic rounds but I was expecting much lower noise than what the video showed.

  3. The louder sound with the first shot is called first round pop. There's oxygen in the suppressor that gets consumed by the hot gases on first firing, and followup shots are then quieter.

  4. Howdy Sir, Howdy Phil. Great day out there in heat country. Yeah it seems that suppressor is a bit on the noisy side. Kinda like shooting 5.56 through a 40cal can. lol Either way, that's good fun right there. Stay safe y'all and see you soon!

  5. I wonder what's going on. Another guy shot the 300 in a AR platform and sounded much quieter. I wonder if maybe the suppressor got assembled wrong or simply not as good?? You mentioned the first shot was louder, and I wonder why that is. Just saying. He didn't mention what brand of suppressor he used though.

  6. After watching your first suppressor video, I went out and got a 22 suppressor. I went with the SilencerCo Sparrow. I have since picked up a CMMG Zero’d 36k. On my Extar EP9, the 36k is a lot quieter than I expected, using 147gr rounds. With 115gr, or 124gr, it’s not as quiet. Granted, it’s far from Hollywood quiet, but it’s still a joy to shoot suppressed.

  7. Interesting video. Definitely spring recoil noise on the first rifle. It really deadened the sound on the 300 blackout though. Curious 🤔 have you ever tried the 2 liter bottle for a suppressed like Segal used in the movie on the end of a .45 ACP? I would also be curious as I know they sell an adapter for 1/28mm whereas you can screw an oil filter on for a silencer…apparently a longer filter works really good.
