  1. You keep saying torx wrench and torx driver and idk why, but it bothers me. Its a 1/2in torque wrench and a 1/4in bit torque driver. The driver will take any 1/4in bit. Torx is a particular style of bit/head like flat head, Phillips head, hex head, torx head, etc. And im pretty sure you should have that barrel nut wrench at a 90° angle to the handle to get correct torque. Granted youll probably only be a few lbs over but still. And personally if im using a drill to run a bolt in or out, i go slow bc if theres ever an easy time to cross thread something in metal, its when your running a bolt in or out super fast with a drill. Its a tad harder to "feel" yourself cross threading something, or about to, when using a drill. By hand you can feel when you hit that first resistance and can stop, back it out and reasses. I take little steps like that bc ive had goofs where i mess up the only hardware i have and its inconvenient and aggravating.

  2. Wound up having to hammer mine on because the barrel nuts contact points on the wrench warped.

It was…not fun. But this thing is most definitely not going anywhere as a result.

  3. I installed mine the other week, replacing the keymod Mach 2.0 which I’ve had since 2018.

I do like that this handguard is still cut tall enough to accommodate a Superlative Arms gas piston (barely), although I think the barrel nut could’ve been better if it had more area along its length for the wrench.

  4. Would shooting after installing the gas block be a good idea before installing the guard? Just to make sure the gun cycles? not that its that much work, but it could save a little time i suppose.

  5. I’d like to see a key on top of the gas tube by the receiver or anti rotation tabs that lock onto the reciever. My old school handguards used to loosen up when they got hot. It only wiggles a little but it’ll mess up your front sight alignment
