  1. I've had my 450BM FOR 15+ years. And l have always used a 556 mag. I've never had a problem with them. The only thing I have against my 450 is it kicks like a mule. I've tried a few different things, but it still kicks hard. I've shot a 10ga with high brass and it doesn't kick as hard as the 450.

  2. i run old school colt , and usgi steel mags some with big bore followers, some without. never had any problems
30 rd steel loaded to 8rds , ive taken every type of big game Alaska can throw at me with a 16 inch 450 bravo echo bushy upper….with GI mags

  3. 5.56 like 5lb ish recoil depending on build. 450 bm around 20lb recoil depending on build so about like a 20 gauge shotgun. So just keep that in mind. 55g to 70g vs 200g to 400 grain.

  4. Shooting Rock River Arms w thier upgraded muzzle brake. 250 gr hornady black box. . I dont notice any harsh recoil. Will put the 350 cripple to shame. Never had a single ejection problem ever. Shoot cheap crap, get crap results.

  5. There is a problem with the timing of the BCG coming back to pick up the next round. You have to purchase the buffer weight kits that are customizable. They say that this round was designed to be used with a standard buffer and spring. I did use a heavier buffer weight and it did help with the recoil immensely but it didn't fix the issue of not picking up the next round. I'm going to keep playing with changing the buffer weight and or the spring type.
