I purchased the SDS Imports Tisas B45R Duty, which is a full-size government profile 1911 pistol. I’ve shot 1,000 rounds of .45 ACP through it and so far I’ve been impressed with the build quality and performance of this pistol. This is a brief tutorial on how to fit the Streamlight TLR-1 HL. I actually used the Glock adapter plate on the TLR-1 (since I removed it from my Glock 17 for this video).

If you’re looking for a quality 1911 at an attractive price, you may want to consider the Tisas B45R. It’s offered in 9mm and .45ACP with and without accessory rails.

  1. I’ve got this same setup, makes it even heavier, but in 9mm, nearly zero recoil. Mine’s been perfectly reliable so far with about 200-250 rounds. Anyone thinking of buying one, don’t think, buy!
