I found it interesting the battery life is still stated the same when I figured this would at least double the battery life compared to a standard EXPS 3-0
No one really talks about the 3-1 its actually great. I have multiple astigmatisms and its super crisp also another thing i noticed shooting with it is when i use white light only in the dark it does not disappear or fade out like my red dots which is huge because practically speaking i won't be running nods in the truck if something where to happen at random and dont have to adjust the dot brightness its just there great video.

Hey Brandon, I’m glad you brought up the fact, that Any brand of weapon sight can be bad. I bought 2 Sig Romeo 5’s thinking I could use them on whatever I choose to take to the range. But, I waited several months after buying them, to actually use them. And here’s where I got into trouble, I couldn’t zero these dots @ 25 yards,at all? Switching from my AR, AK & mp5. I had the range master come to help me using sand bags, but they were still way off center mass, where normally I’d be punching every round in a 2” group. Do you think I could have 2 BAD, brand new red dots ? If so, what would you suggest to return them as defective? Thanks brother Brandon. Matty

Interesting. But I have three T2s on various rifles and four donut Eotechs on other rifles (all with magnifiers and elevated). In addition, I have other fighting rifles which include two Hueys, three ACOGs, and six LPVOs. I prefer the Eotech over the Huey but if we are talking about a dot…for myself it’s Aimpoint all day, every day, and twice on Sunday.
Good review. I personally love the exps3 series as well and have them on my serious guns. This is the first time I’ve heard the explanation of why eotech has a “dot only” version.
