Streamlight ProTac Dual Fuel Tac Light – Full Review

I have these mounted on some of my long guns I love them.
QUESTION FOR JACK:

I am upgrading my get home bag with everything going on.
Do you think I should add my gas mask to the bag or is that over kill?
I am in South Texas outside of Houston but my job is a traveling mechanic. My area is south Louisiana to Brownsville Texas. Any given week I am 200 plus miles from home.

Love Streamlight. I've been carrying a Streamlight Microstream 250 Lumen rechargable light as part of EDC for the last few years, incredibly useful. I'm a machinist, and find it to be a great option because it has a dual tap feature to set it to (I believe) 5 lumens, which makes it bright enough to have good light on a part, but not too bright where the reflection off of bare metal blinds you. Also have a few of their weapon lights. Great products at a very affordable price

I carry the two AA battery version. The 10 tap lasts about 5 years for me. Then it becomes an on and off button only on the bright setting.

That Amazon price is lower than my dealer price currently. Good buy.

I have been carrying that light for several years, using it every day at work as an industrial electrician. The lower setting works well inside cabinets, etc so that it is not too bright. It is extremely convenient.

I have a bunch of these at the house and have carried one every day for years. They're tanks.
