  1. just bought the midnight colour one yesterday. with 8gb ram and 512gb ssd with 15inch screen of course .I'm loving it. I wanted a lighter MacBook and the most important thing to me is the overall experience! could be better if it has 16 gb ram though.

  2. I am starting school in august for information security, I need a computer that is good for Remote Desktop work and VMware. Would you recommend the 13” m2 pro or the 13/15” m2 air? My budget maxes out at 1500 and I don’t want anything refurbished.

  3. I'm still comparing 14 verse 15, had a 15 inch MacBook Pro for years loved it but needed it an M processor so I went with a 13 inch MacBook Air in September now that I'm back at a 15 inch it's kind of big

  4. I could your help if possible. I downloaded music from old iTunes, put on USB . question can I buy a cheap MacBook 2015 model just to upload the music onto? The file is xml, would that work? Thanks if you have time. I basically bought my apple setup based on your recommendations and am very pleased with everything you suggested.

  5. I will buy it, but as 16/500. I don't mind the fact that the MacBook Pro 14" is similar in price. I don't like thick laptops and fans. And I don't need that extra performance.

  6. Great video as always. My take on the 15 M2 Air is that it is a great computer. I have a 13inch MacBook Air and a 16 inch MB Pro,. The 16 inch is Awesome. However much too large to carry around. The 13 inch is nice and easy to carry but I am finding it much to small of a screen to be productive. I think the 15 inch is perfect for Travel and I really don't notice a difference in my backpack.

  7. I wish this came with 16 gb of RAM at that price. I'm needing to do video editing and 8 gb for $1300 is kinda wierd to see in 2023.
For that price, maybe id be better off going with the M2 Pro mac mini for the same price and just use my 4k 55" tv that gets 120 hz.

  8. I initially placed an order for 15 inch MacBook Air M2 16Ram 1TB SSD…. But for 270 more I can get the 14 inch Pro M2 and now I’m torn. I like the bigger screen but the 120 hz pro motion display is soooo good. 16 inch pro is kinda pricey. Is it worth going pro?

  9. Could you possibly put together a video guide that delves into the use of external wifi adapters with a Mac m2? It seems like Mac has removed the ability to use any wifi source other than the built-in wifi card, yet they still permit ethernet adapters for external internet. This is both puzzling and annoying. In situations where the wifi signal isn't strong, I'd like to use an external wifi adapter, which would let me position the receiver near a window. But it looks like Mac has put a stop to this. Could you shed some light on this subject?

  10. Hello. I will be receiving a 14-inch Macbook Pro M1 (2021 model) shortly. But I much prefer the use of a mouse to the trackpad. What would be the solution to successfully connect my good old Microsoft wired mouse (whose purchase dates back more than 10 years) to this Mackbook Pro? I specify that this mouse has the old generation of USB-A socket. I don't understand anything at all about ports called Thunderbolt but I think those ports won't accept my mouse jack. Finally, will using my wired mouse cause me to underuse the speed capability of this Macbook Pro (I mean compared to a Bluetooth type mouse)? Thank you for your reply.

  11. Mine is not out for delivery yet here in the UK (dispatched from China on 11th and today is Thursday 15th). So not feeling great about UPS delivery performance.

For me it was a straight comparison of two Airs – 13 and 15. I had no intention of going for the Pro as I do not need it’s extra capabilities. So all about screen size within the Air range for me and it sounds as if I will be very happy.

  12. Does anyone notice on the bottom/sides where the bottom piece of the computer meets the sides that it isn’t perfectly flush? It almost like the bottom piece is slightly sticking out and isn’t perfectly smooth/flush.

Just wondering since I just got my MacBook Air (15in) today.

  13. I love the idea of the 15’ macbook, but for me I was expecting just a little more.. the ports for example are disappointing(being on one side🤷🏻‍♂️)… also once again the base model specs really do mean you need to expand it to ‘future proof’ it.. which pushes you towards the 14’ pro….. I do, however, like your comparison that you should look at it as the air version of the 16’ model rather than the 13…. For me tho the pro is still the better option especially if you go refurb m1 or m2

  14. @The Everyday Dad, do you think it might be TOO big? I just received mine and compared to my 13in M1 Air and 14in M1 Pro, it feels giant! I thought I would love it but don't know if I want such a chungus for my daily driver haha

  15. I still don't quite understand memory bandwidth. Is 16gb 100gb/s RAM equal to 8gb 200gb/s?? Is it perhaps how much data can be transferred at once instantaneously, vs how much data is capable of being stored for instantaneous transfer? So you can store 16gb of data but only retrieve 100gb/s, vs storing say 8gb of data but being able to retrieve more of it faster at 200gb/s? This doesn't quite make sense either cuz.. 200gb.. is a lot more than the 8gb that would be stored.. so I must be understanding this wrong.

  16. I feel like the m1 pro 14" is a better option purely because of the ports. If they gave us dual monitor support on the air models of the laptops, I'd be more willing to be swayed to the 15" side…

  17. You're a good and reasonable man. This unboxing showed that. I'm so glad you didn't just follow the script and pointed out the obvious regarding the weight of the 15-inch 'Air' which is 3.5 pounds. And I agree that the 16-inch is a better comparison for the 15-inch MacBook than the 14-inch.
