  1. I’ve used this every weekend for 3 yrs while everyone camping and fishing. It’s my favorite lantern. Lasts all night long and never dims. I use rechargeable batteries. It’s tough too, I don’t have to worry about it breaking. It’s weather proof too, Ive had it in rain and damp conditions without issue.

  2. Wow. They are under 40 dollars? Hmm. Based on the specs I expected it to be closer to 70 or so. Do you have to cycle through the levels each time to get to off or do you have to press the button within a certain time after turning on to get to the lower levels?

I'm really tempted to stop by bright guy again and get one of these lol. (I'm the guy down the street from your store who keeps bugging you since I found out you have so many awesome lights close by ;p )

  3. Wow…. Very nice lantern. Streamlight and Fenix are two companies I have always wanted to make really nice led lanterns. Now Fenix has to get in on this. I kind of wish it ran on AA's instead though so you could throw maybe 8 l91 lithium batts in it and never have to worry about leaking and it would always be ready.

over 340 for 30 hours is super impressive though if those specs are accurate. Even for D cells that seems a bit high — I bet it would be more like 20 hrs but still really nice.
