  1. I have the carbine version of that. I bought it during the ban. I never really had any issues with it but then I never really shot it that much because it felt like it would break too easily.

  2. I was always fascinated by the Professional Ordnance models and their supposed 4.5 pound weight for a carbine. I never quite understood why Bushmaster night the Carbon 15 and immediately weighed it down with heavy milspec type parts.

  3. The Bushmaster C22 that is no longer available uses a Carbon 15 lower that is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 uppers. My C22 lower has been tested with 7.62 x 39 & 556 and functions perfectly. However, I would not be my rifle of choice for WW3.

  4. PDW Type Weapon: Seen.

Side Note: Needs Beta C mag and to be in the hand of The Boss (I know she used a Patriot but I’m not the only one that thought this on first glance).

  5. Aww man, memories. I had two early Carbon-15 pistols & used one in the filming of a music video for the movie "Belly". DMX was an idiot who couldn't figure out how to operate the AK we gave him & Nas was mellow & cool to work with. Anyways, my dumb ass fitted a blank firing adapter to the Carbon-15 & the lower receiver split in half on the first shot. I still have the 46 oz. paperweight.

  6. Imagine having one of those with a forced reset trigger in the 90's. I doubt the lower would handle more than a few mags with a forced reset trigger in it, but that definitely would have made things more interesting during that time period.

  7. I can see this as a very good platform for a cursed gun build, convert it to 9mm, print an mp5 style stock for it, then a longer barrel with a mock suppressor so it looks like a mp5sd, that would be hilarious.

  8. That looks like a nice foundation to make a cheek pistol out of. I wonder, If a Strike industries short buffer tube be a good replacement?

  9. Everytime I see a carbon 15 I want to listen to the "Hustle and Flow" soundtrack…..there is a song on there by BOYZ N DA HOOD called "Carbon 15, Ak's and MAC 11's"……it's a really dumb and bad rap song, and I don't like rap really, but hey at least it's pro gun!!! Lmao!

  10. I'll probably use Pmag 9mm adapters, a 9 milly receiver and a barrel for it once I save up enough.
    That'll probably mitigate some issues.
my list is pretty lengthy for things I want though.
