  1. Thanks for this well illustrated, detailed and objective comparison.
I just bought the HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight for my 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine. I don't have night vision and don't ever expect to use night vision with it. BUT I may get a thermal sight which has its own reticle. Doubtful I could properly duct tape a thermal monocular behind or ahead of my AEMS but who knows? Maybe a plain, no-reticle thermal monocular jerry rigged in front of the AEMS would work. (I also have the HOLOSUN 509T on my RUGER 57 pistol that works very well.)

  2. Couple of buddies and I went out to shoot under a full moon with nods. Passive aiming with an Aimpoint Pro and T2 was a breeze, but as stated earlier there was a full moon out. Great video

  3. Dude please tell me these aren’t on a gun pointed at you’d friend lol. Ever since Baldwin started feeling inclined to cap peeps I’m like omg gun community don’t give them reasons to hate us more. I’m assuming they are just in your hand. Great video!

  4. Good to see Holosun finally producing an optic that's actually usable under NV. I'm looking forward to your review. I've been wanting to buy a couple of these, but held off after hearing some concerning things in other reviews.

  5. Pretty cool. Kinda scary that the PRC can tool up to put those on everything they would want with a pen stroke though. It was different when it was just meh T1 clones, true night fighting optics are a bit scary.

  6. Great video! I run the EOTech (on a riser) through binos and love it. I might have missed something. You say Passive Aiming is a secondary option due to low light but you can run an IR light like a normal flashlight while shooting passive. Even if you run a laser (assuming you're basing this on no illum) you still can't PID your target without an illuminator. Again, great video, not trolling at all, just curious on the clarification. I still do run a laser but honestly outside of the fun factor of my laser have found shooting passively to be a primary option.

  7. The only time the 403 is good for passive aiming is in a Cheek Pistol format, where the optic is like an inch from the tube. I have noticed that the further away your optic is from the NV device, the worse it is for passive aiming. Just something to consider

  8. The AEMS stood out to me as not only leagues above everything else Holosun has released so far, but a sincere competitor to and even improvement over many other flagship optics from the most respectable companies in the industry. I haven't invested in an EOTech or an Aimpoint as of yet. I think most likely I won't do so; I'd prefer an AEMS from what I've seen.

  9. Exactly the info I've been looking for. Thanks! I had an EXPS 3-2 that I swapped out for an Aimpoint T2, I had the exact same issue where the reticle obscured too much of the target in low light and under NV. I'm going to get an AEMS and put it on my 300BLK PDW and maybe 3D print an Elcan saddle for it…

  10. Good shit man. Have you tried a holosun 510? I’ve got one in green and I’ve been pretty happy for passive. I have an primary arms md25 acss. It hasn’t been terrible actually. Much better than standard micros. Not as good as the 510, which I feel is very close to eotech

  11. WHEN the Reptila Low Mount is Available for the AEM-GR(Green) would Most Definitely be the Ideal Optic Set up for a Langdon Tactical: Beretta 1301-18.5” 12GA W/Full Aridus Industries Goodies.
I’d Also, Consider it for a EDC/Truck Pistol/Carbine(11.5”-13.9”) . I’ve yet to make jump to NODS due to a complete lack of access to a place to shoot after dark. Though I enjoy learning about its usefulness for such things for the day where this info will become useful to me eventually.

  12. I am really Impressed with the Holosun AEMS!! I think they have really hit this one out with its options and price point! Very hard to beat..! I guess time will tell with reliability!!!
