Today we talk about Delta Team Tactical and other parts companies that sell parts kits. These companies don’t really manufacture anything, they just buy the bulk parts and assemble them (or just throw them in a box together).
3 Main components that you need to look out for.
Barrel Manufacturer – Who actually makes the barrel. Is it the barrel length, twist, gas system, profile, and caliber that you need for your desired outcome.
Handguard – Manufacturer is not as important as long as it is in spec. Make sure that it is the mounting system you want, you can mount your desired muzzle device, and that it gives you enough real-estate without being excessive and therefore heavier than it needs to be.
Upper Receiver – Basically only buy a forged 7075-T6 aluminum with Type 3 hard coat anodization. Everything else on the upper is whatever.

Delta Team Tactical has a Nickel Boron BCG. Recoil Technologies I believe its the mfg. its $69 would you hard pass on this?

Hey man I can’t find any reviews but I know you do a lot delta team, I bought two pcc uppers (stripped) that have the pcc only ejection port that most all pistol calibers can work in, I wondered if you might test one of those? They look really nice and i bet they are work good….. the price was right so i went for it…..great job as always 👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅

(Tualatin) To-wall-ah-tin, Oregon. Sorry, lived there for years and had to do it. Good info and correct parts observations regarding DTT, Omega, and Davidson Defense. Gorilla Machining is another great one to pick up high-quality budget parts from. The trickiest thing for me was figuring out how to complete a build I was truly happy with without any spare or additional parts left over. Which will only lead to an excuse to complete another build. Knowing in the back of my mind there was never really anything tricky about it. Apologies again for coming off like the pronunciation police. Stay safe and keep on blastin!
Hows your experience been with shooting steel case 7.62×39 and 6.5 Grendel with bear creek BCGs? My 762 can barley shoot steel case ammo and my 6.5 Grendel bcg extractor broke with under about 40rds steelcase and 10 rounds of brass then just fucked with a casing in the barrel .
Hey bro have you gotten delta team barrels that aren't dimpled? What do you sue if you get 1? I just bought their dimple jig cuz I fucked off a 308 barrel trying to dimple it but starting to think its the adhustable gas block not the dimple alignment job. Thats a bad ass paint job by the way

I saw that upper when they were selling it. They had some other goofy configurations. I think it was a "we need to clear out the stock room" situation while supply was low

Man you talk fast. Lots of good information though.. I have a ATI Milsport that I tore apart and totally upgraded, and then 2 builds, 1 with Aero lower with a BCA 16" 5.56 upper, and the other a Valor lower with BCA 7.5" 300AAC upper and both have a bunch of Spike Industries accessories on them. Didn't spend a lot of money ($2100.00 2020 dollars…) for 3 very reliable and accurate firearms. Oh, and I have enough left over parts to make couple low quality lowers and build maybe 1 more cheap upper as well. All this was done on advice from good guntubers like you..

I have a 7.5” DTT pistol and it shoots fine but the 16” upper I got from them it complete trash. Nothing but gas issues. It was slapped together horribly and the gas block was at 11:30 and all screws loose. Took it all apart and put it back together correctly twice and still having gas issues. Pretty sure the gas hole in the barrel is too small. I’m just scrapping it. I’m done wasting time on it
