This is part 1 of the “Poverty Build” series! We will be doing a thorough longevity test on this budget rifle from Palmetto State Armory. This rifle started as an entry-level AR15 and we’ve added some parts and accessories to make it look and function a little better. Most of the internal components are stock and the stuff we added is mostly aesthetics. If you’d like to see the complete series and more videos like this, please subscribe to the channel!

  1. Most people who buy poverty guns actually shoot their guns. Those who buy expensive Ar 15 usually safe queen them and usually don’t shoot them. Psa will always be my training gun. Maybe a bcm but I haven’t the need to get one since my psa rocks

  2. I used to be a big fan of PSA until recently I purchased a 16" midlength upper in Flat Dark Earth. About a month later I received a Black one and About 12 calls later, each consuming over an hour to get through to a live person only to be told that I could deal with it or send it back for a refund. Never in my life have I dealt with such piss poor customer service. Still have not had issue resolved. The upper also arrived scratched up and was priced About $200 more than they have sold the same upper for just a few months ago. Even with the price gouging they still were unable to send the handguards that I bought and paid for to make my order correct. If I were to recommend a company based on customer service alone PSA wouldn't make the list.

  3. I also picked up a PSA 10.5-in pistol with an SBA 3, and a freedom upper with an mlok handguard.
However I did disassemble, gauge, and QC the rifle myself and I couldn't find anything wrong other than the barrel was not dimpled because it's a Gen2 to AR-15, so I had to dimple it myself.
Did the same thing on a PSA gen 3 AR-10, except that Barrel was already dimpled.
So far all my PSA products have ran reliably and all the QC has passed.

  4. Good video man. I like how you're straight to the point on things. I just picked one of these up for $400 with 2 mags and about 180 rounds. Excited to see how it shoots.
