Springfield Saint AR 15 Pistol At 5280 Armory

What kind of range and defense ammo would you recommend for the Saint Victor Pistol? Even though it’s really tough to find ammo these days I have had difficulty finding a consensus on defense rounds to run out of a 7.5” AR pistol. Thanks

I have the same one in Tactical Grey. And I have to say I just love it. We all know 7.5 is not the best length to get velocity out of the 5.56, but I don’t care. It’s a fun little platform that performs.

How’s it shoot at 100 yds?

Scored a Saint Victor pistol back in May 2020 and SO VERY HAPPY I FOUND IT WHEN I DID. Tried a green dot optic and a nice scope but could NOT zero the gun whatsoever using EITHER sight system. Ended up being able to zero it just fine after throwing on a set of Army surplus flip up iron ghost ring sights…… I'd give this gun a SOLID 12 on a scale of 1-10 as it goes for overall QUALITY features appeal…… Found this thing for a little under 9 bills……………….IMPRESSIVE AR15 for the price……..

It's okay to take a few shots like it's a shoulder stock, but this video misses the point of the Saint. STRAP IT ON and have at it. I own one and the forearm strap makes the whole deal special. Destroying cinderblocks at 75 yards, one hand or two is more fun with the thing strapped to your arm for stability. It takes a few trips to the farm for close and far sighting in, but the short barrel, giant muzzle flash and strap on forearm stabilizer the Saint is really fun with your friends.

I looked at one of these at your place when I was in town for business. Went home and ordered one direct from Springfield at the LEO price point. It shipped out yesterday and will be at my FFL tomorrow. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Already have a SBA3 and some other goodies sitting at the house waiting for it. By the way… 5280 Armory is a great range and retail store. I enjoyed my visit and interacting with your professional staff.

I have had one of these for a good while now. It is my go to gun. It is outstanding. Very solid built. I highly recommend it. I paid about 730 for mine. But dont expect to get it for that. Because I know the guy extremely well and "friends and family" discount on top of military.

I just got mine! Can’t wait to take it out to test it out! But feels really comfortable. And I specifically bought it for Home defense. The size is perfect for inside a home. And I’m not worried about over penetration since the barrel is 7.5 inches. But I’m sure it will get the job done if needed!

The muzzle blast out if this short barrel is ridiculous. That barrel is way too short for 556.

Anyone know which riser that is?

How far out would you rate it’s effective range? 50yards? Further?

I can’t wait for mine to get here!! That muzzle blast is crazy!! Gonna put a Trijicon RMR on a Midwest Industries quick detach mount and also change out that brace for a Shockwave Blade.
