In this product review I take a look at the CMMG .22LR AR-15 Bravo Conversion Kit. This is an affordable and popular conversion kit for AR-15s that allows you to shoot .22LR through a 5.56 rifle. Does it work? Is it reliable? Well, this video is about my experience.

I have a couple of CMMG 22 conversations I run them on 10.5 -16 inch barrels, also with the Law tactical folders .the only mags I run are the black dog . I only use CCI supersonic no subsonic ammo .
Mine are great
Can you do a review on the Tippmann M4 22lr elite?
I just went with a 15/22, rather than a conversion kit. May pick up the 'handgun' version too, when/if they go back down to something resembling normal.
I always knew you played for the other team lol. The TGP has you under her thumb Bubba. š
Mine has been very reliable. Handful of FTE when it gets real dirty ā a brick or soā clean, oil and back at it.
I am surprised you had so many issues. The one Iāve had since they first came out has had about 50K+ rounds through it with only a handful of mis-feeds or failure to fires. Iāve always used it for my kids to shoot the ARās I own and itās been in about a dozen of them. Each tim we shoot the entire box of ammo (500+) bulk packs and afterwards I always shoot a mag of 5.56 Through it when done. I also only use copper plated 22lrs. I had to do that math but itās been to the range well over 100 times with the kids and every time we shoot the entire box so it may actually be in the 60K + rd count. I only use the CMMG magazines.
What I read and seen myself is you canāt touch or rest the cmmg magazines. It ran flawless that way.
Pair the CMMG kit with the G44 and you have a great pair to work on fundamentals and transitions without mortgaging the houseā¦.
Mine runs great with Remington ammo with CMMG mags loaded with 10 rounds using the loading instructions included with the kitā¦. I canāt let my granddaughter see that Hello Kitty kit or Iāll have one adjourned just like itš
been contemplating about picking this up, thanks for another great review Jason.
I gotta agree. Don't like it! But .22 sucks.
I have one no problems with it gets better groups in my 1/12 twist clones 1/7 is two fast for .22.
looks like fun but for me personally in my rifle i dont wanna clean it like the 22s i want it as a standalone 556 for defense and just use the 22 rifles for it but i can see why others like them
If I didnāt have a .22LR (GSG-16) I would be more interested into having the CMMG conversion. Itās really an awesome idea and usually the price is reasonable.
