A huge thanks to Magestic Records for providing the music. Please go by and check these guys out they are doing some amazing things.

“This video is for educational and entertainment purposes only. All guns displayed off the range are safety checked and only displayed pointing in safe directions. All footage at the range is private range and the gun is handled by a Range Officer certified by the National Range Officer Institute. This video is not promoting or attempting to sell guns. Sale of guns is heavily regulated and I am not associated with any federally licensed firearms dealer. The actions of all firearms displayed are unmodified and presented as commonly available from original equipment manufacturers. This video is not instructional on building or modifying firearms. Nothing has been done to increase the rate of fire or lethality of the firearms displayed nor would I advocate making such modification as it presents a huge liability and potential risk of harm or death.”

  1. Watched this while deciding if the 6 mm ARC in an AR platform was the my next rifle. Great and honest review, great and first class video production. Confidently sold me. See ya at the range with this!

  2. Nice review of the 6mm ARC’ Im just going to build my own since I can source the parts I like for less money. You might also look into the Arken SH4 gen 2 6-24×50 34mm tube. I have the strike eagle and the Arken and the Arken is better in every way except it has a smaller objective at 50mm vs 56mm but Ill take that since you don’t lose elevation with the zero stop. Im my opinion the Arken has better glass since I can compare them side by side. I know you already know about the Arken but I just wanted to confirm its a bad ass scope for under $500 bucks.

  3. Still not convinced but the ARC seems to be doing better than the .224 Valkyrie fiasco. I will wait for more testing and to hear more user feed back from the field before I get on board. Wish it was based on a 6.8 case/bolt vs 6.5G.

  4. I just got into shooting PRS this year. Currently running .308. (and of all platforms, a M1A. what can I say? I'm a old warhorse that has a hard time changing. lol) That said, I knew if I want to be competitive I am going to HAVE to change. Not only caliber but platform. (hate to say that but I fully understand there's better rifles than the M1A for shooting PRS) Was going to build a AR10 in 6.5 creedmoor but then remembered the 6 ARC. Still in the eraly stages of researching but I'm thinking this is the caliber/platform I'm going to run with. Being prior service and already being intimate with that system it only makes sense.

Great vid. You have a new subscriber.

  5. Good video as usual. Hard to believe CMMG had to be begged for a sample as they have done this far more than anyone. I also doubt some of the story about DOD. It was most likely Crane, not DOD. They test everything. And comparing to a 308…come on.

  6. Love my Grendel. This sounds interesting, but I can't afford to experiment with it with COVID messing up my work schedule/hours. Cost per round is a major difference without plinking stuff available as well. I have cases of Wolf for the Grendel to play with.

  7. Seems like a legit round. But idk if its quite worth the hype. Unless it can do my taxes and walk my dog, I probably won't get another AR15 chambered in another wildcat cartridge.

  8. 6mm arc aka 6mm Grendel is great but if the defense department was smart they would pick 6.5 Grendel or 6mm arc put it in a steel case and just go with it. Buy m4 uppers for the transition then eventually go to some bullpup design.
