Hey, MPK. Me as well as a lot of other people are trying to build their first AR-15 due to stock gun prices. I find that it would be extremely helpful if you eventually compile a list of parts that are inexpensive but not lacking in reliability/quality.

So I’ve been trying to learn about guns and what is best for me. (Mainly YouTube has helped me) I have a handgun but I really want to build my own AR. Where is it best to buy? I have a local gun store that sells used guns and new guns even at a really low rate. Should I buy my AR parts online and where or at a local place? I’m on a budget bc I’m trying to save for my own place and to be honest I don’t want to have a AR at the rental place I’m staying at. So it’s a build I want to take my time on. Where should I look for deals and what brands are the best?

As for Wrong Handed Bolt release.
You can also drop the bolt with you right hand trigger finger so might be a little useful.
You can also use a dremel to cut a slot for an ambi bolt release so if your slightly mechanical inclined you dont have to spend more on a lower.
