Join me as I walk about the Arizona desert late at night with a UV flashlight in search of the dreaded and feared bark scorpion. These are venomous and can kill you. Watch then catch and kill some prey and see them scoot about like glowing orb’s of death. The UV flashlight I am using is this one (iLumen8) on Amazon:
It’s a killer UV flashlight and I highly recommend it.

  1. I got stung once. The spot on my finger where I was stung was numb for a month. The intitial pain was like electricity flowing through my arm, but wasn't that bad. I live in Chandler AZ in a decent neighborhood that used to be a farm. It's home to the bark scorpion. In the summer I kill at least 1 a week in the house and sometimes I'll do a night sweep in the yard during summer months and kill as many as a dozen bark scorpions. You learn to live with them. The fear of them is over rated. They're not out to get you. I'll take scorpions over mosquitoes any day!
