Wondering how to build an AR-15 Lower? In this episode of TFB TV, Patrick was doing some spring cleaning and came across enough spare parts to build a complete AR-15 lower receiver. Patrick walks you through how he builds his own AR-15 lowers.

Next week we will build an AR-15 upper receiver for future use as a channel test bed. All of the parts used in this build are take offs from past upgrades and other extra bits.

  1. 2 things, first, do the bolt catch after the mag release. 2, how the F@$# did you get this to stay up. You tube deleted both of my lower vids, I guess it pays to be a big gun channel. Nice job on the build.

  2. well i dont have the luxury of havint a bunch of unwanted parts laying arounf to build a lower with?lol with the paperwork i need to do and the Nic's check a stripped lower is about 80bucks for me! thats if i buy it at the local gun shop.If i order one i gota add 25bucks for the nics and 20bucks for the transfer of the lower i buy so we are then looking at the lower +45bucks once it hits my FFL dealer! lolAnyway i purchased a Anderson lower to replace the Plum Crazy poly lower i just bought. But after a bit more research i did get the GenII and upgraded to the Metal buffer tube. Also purchase all metal lower parts for it so only the lower is poly now.lol oh and stock.Anyway i had then a Anderson lower sitting around and went with a basic M4 stock from Trinity Force. It was one of those stock/buffer tubes/spring and so on kits. Then a CMC lower parts kit with the trigger group.I should be ready to go!This video will help me in building it for my 7.62×39 Complete AR style upper. It was the best price i could have paid for an upper like this from BCA! 189.99 with a chrome vandium barrel and i cant wait to get it to the range! Thats what i got it for to have some range fun! One of the things that have stemmed from all this is that i want to get into reloading…and loading new rounds?Any suggestions, where to get New or used reloading gear cheap?

  3. Shit vid. Lost me on the disconnector spring. Dude takes the time to point out that one side is flared but doesn't bother telling you which side should go where. "Here are some specifics. Go find the rest of the specifics somewhere else." Will do, broham.

  4. Effen YT will take this video down–and now the ATF is in the business of changing laws in order to make bump stock illegal, too…the world has lost its effen mind.

  5. What’s you guys thinking you’re making a good video when your not smart enough too place the camera in front of you instead of behind so we don’t have to keep looking at your fucking arm??!!!! FUCKING IDIOT!!!! Edit a video ever??!!!

  6. Great video! Helped me breeze right through it. Thanks. Only advice would be to show each little piece with slight more detail. When they are jumbled together it can become confusing.

  7. cool vid , I always pick up a little trick here and there when I watch different how to build vids , Thanks for making this quick vid
. I subbed and am checking out the others , Peace Patrick

  8. I wanted to give a thumbs up because there's some good info in this vid, but there were just too many times we couldn't see what you were doing – either your hand was in the way, or what you were doing was out of the camera frame.

  9. Really liked the tip for the bolt catch installation. I used the vice grip and duct tape method for the AR I'm building for my girlfriend and as you suspected did ding an ear even with the duct tape on the vice grips. Interestingly enough I have a flat faced punch but the instructions said to only use for disassembly! Should have followed my first instincts! Fortunately I was able to cover it up to where it's not noticeable. LOL
I will definitely use your method for my next build! Thanks again Patrick! Great video. I'll definitely watch your upper video before starting on the upper.
