In Defence of the AR-15

The AR-15 is one of the most popular guns in North America. It’s also the most misunderstood.

It’s likely if Bill Blair and the Liberals impose a partial gun ban in Canada that AR-15s will be a part of it.

True North’s Andrew Lawton, a new AR-15 owner, shatters the media’s and the Left’s myths about the style of rifle, and explains why it’s a symbol of a muddled and flawed gun control regime in Canada.

True North is standing up for gun owners, even if the government isn’t. Support our honest coverage of Canadian firearms by joining Andrew Lawton’s Heritage Club:

  1. "A Cabinet Directive not through Parliament" Oh now there's a coincidence, that's just how Jacinda Adern has banned ALL centrefire semi auto rifles in New Zealand in the last few weeks. I guess we now know what she and Justin found to talk about when they met the other day. That and other ways to throw democracy out of the window being good little United Nations puppets together.

  2. Check out this gun shop in London Ont. I am not affiliated with it at all but i did go into it and its completely professional and (I assume) does carry some AR15 style guns. Lets not all be scared of pistol grip rifles just because they have a certain look. Dont judge a book by its cover. https://www.bullseyelondon.com

  3. We have to eliminate, " government doesn't know or are ignorant of the facts". This is all in line with the UN Small Arms Agreement that Trudy and his LIEbrals signed onto (not that anyone was paying attention). This is a concerted effort by the globalists to disarm us. England, Australia, now NZ and Canada. Even the states is under heavy attack to legislate the guns out of civilians hands and they have a Constitution that allows it. Stand up and stand firm or our children and grandchildren will be under the boots of communism……

  4. Unfortunately, a lot of casual firearms owners [ hunters mostly ] repeatedly fall for the divide and conquer approach. Well, I don't want-need-use one so I don't care. The government social engineers know they would face too much opposition by going for everything at once so they approach it step by step, just as they have done for years. They count on indifference and ignorance for cheap political gain. Progressively changing the classification of particular types to eventual prohibited status with grandfathering allows them to circumvent paying compensation for outright confiscation, but deny's the owner the use of their own legally acquired property and makes it transferable only to others already in possession of the same category. This is why registration was really enacted, to locate and eventually outlaw possession. They don't give a damn about crime control. The '' if it will only save one life '' mantra is pure B.S. There are many good causes that the money could go to that would actually save lives instead of wasting it on further expensive virtue signalling government regulation.

  5. Another example of government stupidity! And Bill Blair is supposed to be an expert? An expert manipulator of propaganda for Turd-eau is what he is… Good presentation of the facts Andrew!
